Hi there! My name is Allan, and I'm a disability Support Coordinator with over 4 years of experience.

Working in Far North Queensland has given me such a wonderful opportunity to meet and work with lots of great people within the disability community. Having a disability, has given me a unique perspective and the ability to be able to help participants navigate the complex requirements to achieve the best outcomes of their NDIS Plan.

My disability is called phocomelia which has made me highly motivated and dedicated to my work as a support coordinator in the local region and put me in a unique position of knowing the NDIS from a personal perspective. I really love getting out and about and do not let my disability define or set boundaries for me. I love to get out fishing, especially on the reef. There is so much to see and do here in the Far North and that is something I enjoy sharing with my participants while assisting them to achieve their goals.

My journey includes working with people who have intellectual disabilities and mental illness, as well as supporting people with physical disabilities to live independently. I've been certified in disability support, mental health, and community sector management. Now, I'm able to help people with disabilities find the skills they need to succeed. I am excited to share my passion for the community sector with you. I am always happy to have a chat, if you would like more information please reach out by phone or email.

As a support coordinator, I have extensive knowledge and experience in both mental health and disability support services.
